CHIMERA GP-25 Grenade Launcher |
CHIMERA GP-25 Under-Barrel Grenade Launcher is a full-metal replica of the legendary Soviet under barrel grenade launcher GP-25 (RE-BUILT Double Bell airsoft launcher). It is loaded through the front of the barrel with Chimera VOG-25 air cartridge (launching device), which, in its turn, is pre-loaded with TAG Inn VOG style grenades, just like the real thing. It has an integrated mount which allows it to be fixed to the bayonet lug under the barrel of most AK variants without any special tools (inc airsoft, air gun and de-activated AK rifles). Double Bell launcher is constructed from aluminium, steel and polymer which gives it a realistic feel and a very realistic weight, being only 240g lighter than the real GP-25. Safety lever, adjustable iron sight and grenade extraction rod are also fully functional. The original Double Bell unit has gone through substantial modifications which include barrel widening, firing pin re-build and manufacture of a brand new Chimera VOG-25 air cartridge (launching device) to be pre-loaded with TAG Inn grenades. Despite modifications, Chimera GP-25 remains fully compatible with MOSCART gas grenades (!)

We also offer (as a supplement to a purchsed GP-25) a spare Co2 shell (air cartridge) for Chimera GP-25 launcher, which comprises a Co2 valve (APS CAM870 or X-POWER shells) + valve body (see image on the left) and a black polymer rifled tube to accommodate TAG Inn grenades. A standard Hakkotsu valve as well as X-Power valve can be easily removed and replaced with a new one (from £14) - see Ammo & Air page. APS X-Power valve gives 25% more power (FPS) and it is 5mm longer then its standard version. Some airsoft sites do not allow the use of the original TAG Inn air cartridges due to their powerful shot at upto 100m. Chimera VOG-25 has a maximum range of 30m when fired at 45".
